Highly complex aromatics of lime juice, slate and aspirin; the palate displays the classic acid line and length that are hallmarks of Hunter Valley Semillon.

From the vineyard’s best block of Chardonnay, south facing and planted on a 450-million-year-old marine fossil ridge. Matured for 11 months with 60% new French oak fermentation, the result is a powerful, decadent yet restrained Hunter Valley Chardonnay filled with complex savoury characters, white peach, and flinty aromas.
Made as a nod to the style of Semillon that made the Hunter Valley famous, this wine will satisfy both those who love to drink it early and fresh, or those who prefer a bit more age.
