Single Vineyard Reds
A classic medium-bodied Hunter Shiraz, this red is intensely perfumed and flavoured. This wine reveals a lovely intense red fruit palate complemented by savoury and spice characters in classic Hunter Valley style, typical of the Dairy Hill block.
The second iteration of our gorgeous Hilltops red. This Shiraz is grown in a relatively cool climate which enables us to ferment with whole bunches and macerate skins for an extended time to create a distinctly Rhone-inspired wine.
Where there is Hunter, there is The Gatherer. In the most sought after Hunter vintages we scour the Valley's unique terroir to find a parcel suitable for gathering. This inaugural offering is sourced from the Sweetwater Vineyard.
Our 'Big Bully' represents a small parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon selected from our estate grown Wrattonbully vineyard. A rich, ripe and powerful wine defined by concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry fruit flavours and reinforced by high quality french oak.

Our first ever Pinot Noir from our family 'Carillion Vineyard' in Orange. Raspberry, stoney mineral and herb aromatics with a subtle yet complex palate framed by spice and textured tannins.
Limited Release Reds
Blended at our 2023 Members’ Blending Session by team “Try That”. Deep ruby Garnet hue, with aromatic camphor, blackcurrant and cedar spice. The palate is concentrated with dense black berry fruits and a long herbal finish.
Our 2019 Limited Release 'Cool Climates' Merlot was made from a combination of our cool climate, estate vineyards in Wrattonbully, South Australia and Orange, New South Wales. Ripe black and red plum fruits are framed by subtle savoury complexity and supple tannin.
From the highly regarded Hillrose vineyard in Hilltops, NSW, this is a classic Australian blend. Fragrant blackberry and bayleaf aromas lead to a medium bodied and fresh palate of mulberry, blackberry and cedar from maturation in French oak barrels. Will reward with cellaring.
A careful meld of red varietals creating a modern Australian interpretation of the classic blends of south-west France. Expect ripe black fruits and lifted herbal aromas are joined by savoury spice French oak and framed by very fine polished tannin and fresh acidity.

Referencing our now over 50 year history of winemaking, this is a blend of Shiraz from our two oldest family-owned vineyards in the Hunter Valley (40 years) & Wrattonbully, SA (25 years).
A new varietal range wine from our estate vineyard in Wrattonbully, SA. Expect powerful black fruit characters and herbal regional characters with supple tannin structure.
The term 'cold soak' is a winemaking technique employed before fermentation to enhance the extraction of colour, flavour and aromatics.
Stockhausen Reds
Made in a traditional Hunter Valley style. Concentrated wild red berry fruits are highlighted in its youth which are framed by super fine tannin. This leads into a long linear finish that exhibits subtle oak spice.
