2013 Single Vineyard Dairy Hill Shiraz
Still very fresh for its age, the '13 Dairy Hill Shiraz is a classic medium bodied style. The palate is full of red fruits with savoury and spice characters typical of the Hunter region. Matured in the finest French oak, the wine is well structured and balanced with a lovely long finish.
Accolades
"Puts a modern cut and polish onto its Stockhausen sibling, primarily through maturation in French oak puncheons, but also through more scrupulous fruit selection that leads directly into the wine; here cellaring for less than 5 years would be a mortal sin, this headed for a canter over the next 30 years."
