Grown on Terra Rossa soils at Mount View, the fruit for this shiraz is planted on two slopes that face each other. This gives us some interesting and unique characters from each aspect to play with in the winery. ⁠
tasting notes

A lifted nose of savoury spice and earthy undertones immediately recalls the classic style of Shiraz that helped define the Hunter Valley. On the palate, vibrant wild red berry fruits shine in their youth, supported by super-fine tannins that provide elegant structure. Subtle oak spice adds depth.

Chargrilled chorizo or ratatouille.
Further information

Hand harvested off each vineyard, each batch was separately handled until assembling the wine the following summer. Individual batches where fermented with both indigenous and isolated yeast strains.
