“An All Nighter” blended by the Compound Crew at our 2024 Members Blending Session.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec.
tasting notes

Deep ruby Garnet hue, with aromatic camphor, blackcurrant and cedar spice. The palate is concentrated with dense black berry fruits and a long herbal finish.
pairing guide

Venison loin or a dark chocolate and black cherry tart.
Further information

The individual parcels were picked when ripe and destemmed and cooled for a three day cold soak. The fruit was then inoculated for alcoholic fermentation in static fermenters and fermented for two weeks with three pump-overs each day, then racked into small oak vessels. The final parcels were blended and prepared for bottling following our Members Blending Session as per the winning blend.

The 2023 vintage in Wrattonbully was marked by a long, even growing season, allowing grapes to develop vibrant fruit intensity and balanced natural acidity. Mild winter rains and a warm, dry spring set the stage for healthy vines, while cooler late summer nights preserved aromatic lift and freshness. The resulting wines show fine structure, bright varietal characters, and a compelling textural depth, reflecting the region’s distinctive red soils and maritime influence.
