A rare and celebrated Chardonnay from our high-altitude Orange vineyard, crafted with precision and care to showcase the elegance, poise, and distinctive character of its remarkable vineyard site.
tasting notes

Minerality sings in this wine, with slate and subtle
sandstone layers underpinning reductive notes of white
peach and nectarine. The palate is finely structured,
with bright citrus and lime nuances balanced by a
creamy, textured mid-palate. Gentle oak influence adds
depth and a whisper of toast, while lingering acidity and
a persistent, precise finish showcase the wine’s
elegance and age-worthy potential.

Further information

Hand harvested and transported to our winery in the Hunter, the fruit was gently pressed to 30% new oak where fermentation occurred naturally. The wine was matured in French oak for 6 months before it was moved to stainless steel to remain on lees for an additional two months to impart a more reductive nature. Gently fined and filtered before being bottled.

The 2025 season in Orange saw a mild winter and well-balanced spring, followed by a warm, dry summer that allowed careful harvest timing. Grapes were healthy and expressive, producing a vintage with bright acidity, clean fruit flavours, and excellent potential for vibrant, cool‑climate wines.
