2025 Limited Release Albariño

The latest iteration of our favourite alternate varietal. Lemon zest and grapefruit dominate whilst the palate is texturally olive brine in nature, viscous and perfectly balanced.

Ripe citrus is harmonised by an array of freshly picked herbs and subtle lychee to create an alluring aromatic lift, but it’s the palate that stirs desire. Textural beyond words, be it the luscious balance and chalky mid palate from the delicate dissolved residual CO2 from fermentation, or the variety and soils combining impact of salinity and drive. One glass will have you craving for more.

Our Albariño is grown on well-drained sandy alluvial loam soils located in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country. The Main Flat Block of Albariño is a North-South aligned vineyard that benefits from warm days and high airflow which results in this site consistently producing the best possible expression of Albariño. This variety typically yields relatively low, therefore unique "Harbour Bridge" pruning is necessary to maximise fruit yield and concentration. Canopy thinning prior to harvest is conducted due to vegetative growth induced by this pruning technique.
