Vineyard

Our Malbec grows within our family vineyard in the small viticultural area of Wrattonbully within the Limestone Coast of South Australia. Malbec's characteristic black fruit flavours and high tannin levels develop best in regions that are slightly cooler and enable a longer growing season - thus, Wrattonbully is one of the few regions in Australia that really enable this.

Tasting Notes

This Malbec displays lifted aromatics of violets, cassis and blackcurrent with subtle herbal characters shining through. This leads into the concentrated palate alongside black cherry, plum and mocha which elegantly carries across the palate as the powdery tannin begins to build.

Pair alongside fatty meats, and savoury dishes such as lamb shoulder or garlic shiitake for the best gastronomic experience.
